RF ENGINEER, Based in Atlanta, Ga. (USA) 

 

Job duties includes, but not limited to the following:
1. Take all new RF stations and completing all commissioning and implementation of all protocols and elements required to bring the site online.
2. Load all software; perform RF Datafill including all A-interface, Gb interface and Q3 interface as well as radio network datafill.
3. Perform all RF integration and troubleshooting during network implementation.
4. Perform system monitoring and analyze logs to identify system deficiencies and create all routing tables, engineering for machinery including interface between hardware and software.
5. Analyze all alarms and will provide engineering fixes.
6. Analyze and troubleshoot all engineering problems in the various locations and levels within the system.

 

Job Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering or any suitable combination of education and experience and 5 years of experience. Willing to travel/relocate if needed.

 

 

 
RF ENGINEER, Based in Atlanta, Ga. (USA)

 

Job duties includes, but not limited to the following:
1. Research, Design and develop and test GSM, GPPS and/or WCDMA systems.
2. Study cell planning and test tools using test drive equipment, such as, TEMS/TOM/Comarco/Grayson or other similar drive test equipment.
3. Conduct system design, implementation and optimization of wireless systems.
4. Conduct cell site need, determination & search and site and site acquisition support.
5. Analyze propagation models and be responsible for testing new cell sites.
6. Analyze intermodulation studies and design site antenna configurations and site equipment requirements.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - Roswell, GA. (1 position)

Job Duties:
Includes but not limited to the following:
1. Responsible for network element deployment during the telecom implementation phase of project installation a well as other engineering related to various Base Station Controllers or Base Transceiver Stations.
2. Responsible for the delivery, installation, implementation, and commissioning of the electronics products in accordance with defined electronics engineering and product specifications.
3. Plan and conduct plan layouts, techniques and designs for the field site for the various units.
4. Report site readiness in accordance with engineering specifications.
5. Perform engineering installation and equipment connection, commissioning and documentation as well as all engineering resting, inspection and management of engineering issues in connection with the product.
6. Develop and construct all major units, devices and equipment and conduct all tests and experiments analyzing all engineering results.
7. Responsible for redesigning or modifying equipment to improve performance or fix problems at the site during installation.
8. Complete all commissioning and implementation of all protocols and elements required to bring the site on line.
9. Work with all engineers in the commissioning and implementation of all protocols and elements to bring the site on line.

NSS ENGINEER - Roswell, GA.  (1 position)

Job Duties:
Includes but not limited to the following:
1. Perform transport network design, planning and optimization activities.
2. Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis.
3. Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration.
4. Undertake network performance improvement (KPIs) and optimization tasks.
5. Undertake BSS/RNC/Node B parameter modifications.
6. Analyze and recommend equipment and antenna co-location requirements for different technologies.
7. Perform site build verification and acceptance.
8. Perform PN planning.
9. Responsible to resolve day-to-day issues and support regions to deliver KPI of every UMTS cluster.

SYSTEMS ENGINEER, Based in SLOUGH,UK

 

Responsible for the preparation and execution of software introduction activities including system integration testing (SIT) through to final UAT at customer premises, compiling data interface specifications and conducting internal reviews, reviewing data interface specs, implementing and delivering system customizations, liaising with Support Team and R&D, as appropriate.

Essential experience of Engineering within Telecoms Industry and Mobile Networks (RAN, Core, and Packet), systems architecture for GSM / R99 / R4 / R5 /IMS, NW Planning & Capacity Planning and Performance Management within the Telecoms Industry.

Required Knowledge of OSS architectures and real Performance Management systems, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, Software Feature Specifications and general technical network design specifications within the Performance Management space, UNIX (power tools, shell, networking) and typical file formats and parsing problems within the Network Performance Management space.

The successful candidate should be prepared to travel extensively both in the UK and worldwide, be fluent in English whilst a second European language is desirable.

This role has significant travel in the UK /EMEA.

The ideal candidates will have a proven track record with pre-sales experience.  A professional background in Service Assurance software systems is required. Experience in a particular field of expertise such as packet networks, radio access networks, mobile core, transport networks, probing systems, customer experience management, or other related fields will be of advantage. The ideal candidates will be fluent in a second European language. A hands-on, flexible, can-do attitude is a must for these roles. LEVEL 3 SUPPORT ENGINEER, Based in Paris, France

Within the R&D team, the Level 3 Support Engineer acts as a technical expert, investigating the most critical problems detected by the Level 2 Support and Systems Engineering teams.

The successful candidate should have experience of:
- Problem Reports analysis
- Proposal of solutions / workarounds
- Proposal/Creation of code fixes
- Delivery of Emergency Fixes

They will need at least 3 years in software development and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Java, Unix, Perl, XML, SQL (Oracle). Knowledge of the OSS environment and Telecoms is desirable.
